Renault Trucks brings diesel, electric and heritage line-up to Road Transport Expo
Renault Trucks will bring a broad mix of diesel, electric and heritage vehicles to Road Transport Expo, running from 30 June to 2 July at NAEC Stoneleigh. Visitors to Stand B3 will see three trucks from the Model Year 2026 range, including the striking T High 480 6x2 Customised, T 480 6x2 Pusher and C 440 8x4 Off Road 13L tipper. The line-up will also include an iconic Renault Trucks Magnum, celebrating the company’s heritage and the truck that helped redefine driver comfort.
The T High 480 6x2 Turbo Compound will take centre stage, finished in red metallic paint and equipped with the latest safety and driver-assistance technology. Renault Trucks Optifleet will also demonstrate how connected fleet data can help operators monitor fuel consumption, routes and driver behaviour to improve efficiency. The C 440 8x4 tipper, fitted with a Loadmaster Lite body and Edbro CX15 tipping gear, is built for demanding construction applications, with a reinforced chassis, off-road suspension and camera-based visibility systems.
Electric trucks in the spotlight
Electric mobility will be a major focus, with the fully electric Renault Trucks E-Tech T 4x2 available as part of the Road Transport Expo Ride and Drive programme.Powered by six 90kWh batteries and three electric motors, the E-Tech T offers up to 300km of range, or up to 500km with a one-hour 250kW intermediate fast charge. Visitors will be able to experience its quiet, smooth operation first-hand and speak to Renault Trucks specialists about fleet electrification and decarbonisation.
Also on display will be the electric Renault Trucks E-Tech Master Red Edition L3H2, showcased by OEM-backed contract-hire provider Vertellus. With an 87kWh battery, the E-Tech Master offers a WLTP range of more than 285 miles and can charge from 15% to 80% in around 30 minutes.
A nod to Renault Trucks’ heritage
The refurbished Renault Trucks AE 380.19 TD Magnum 4x2 will provide a trip down memory lane. When launched, the Magnum broke new ground with its completely flat floor and walk-around cab, setting new standards for driver comfort. The stand will also feature the Renault Trucks Master Red EDITION Exclusive L3H2 and a Used Trucks T High 480 6x2 Pusher, giving visitors a look across the breadth of Renault Trucks’ current and used vehicle offering.
Aymeric Larcher, Managing Director of Renault Trucks UK and Ireland, will appear on the Talking Point stage in Hall 3 from 1:15pm to 1:35pm, discussing innovation and the future direction of truck development. Away from the vehicles, Stand B3 will offer a relaxed space for customers and industry professionals, complete with retro-inspired touches, a jukebox, complimentary barista-made coffee and ice cream courtesy of Renault Trucks Financial Services.
Existing Renault Trucks customers can also bring their vehicle key to the stand to receive exclusive Renault Trucks merchandise, subject to availability. The Renault Trucks and Vertellus teams will be available throughout the show to discuss fleet efficiency, contract hire, electrification and practical strategies for reducing transport emissions.
