Why have DAF felt so indigenous to our roads?
Since their first lorry produced in 1949 they have gone on to become one of the leading European truck manufacturers of modern times. DAF were one of the first to introduce intercooled turbocharged diesel engines. They've also won Truck Of The Year award in 1987 and thats easy to see as they have always produced such practical cabins.
